Financial Benefits

  • A pension is a tax-efficient way of long-term saving for your future. Click here for more information about your pension

  • In the unfortunate event of an employee’s death whilst in employment; the scheme provides a life assurance benefit of 3 x basic salary, which is paid as a lump sum to a beneficiary, or beneficiaries, named by the employee. Please note this is not a taxable benefit and death does not need to happen while the employee is at work; they have to be employed by the company at the time of death.

Whilst this is not something pleasant to think about, many will find it reassuring to know that your family will be taken care of financially in the event of your death.

Bereavement assistance and counselling sessions are available for the immediate family of an employee we’re covering in the event of their death. Lump sum payments are usually made within five working days of receiving all the information that is needed.

It is vital that you nominate a beneficiary/beneficiaries for this scheme and it is kept up to date so that Lodha can honour your wishes.

You can do this via the beneficiary form available to download here.

  • Lodha has teamed up with a company called Workplace Nursery to provide you with significant savings on your childcare fees.

This benefit enables parents who use a nursery for the care of their children up to the age of 5, to have the entire nursery fees paid each month by the company, direct to the nursery. The monthly nursery fees are then recouped back from your monthly gross salary. This means you save Tax and NICs on the full amount of your fees and not just the value of your childcare vouchers or Tax Free Credits (TFC’s)

How will it benefit me and my family?

The workplace nursery benefit allows you to save tax and National Insurance on the full cost of your nursery fees each month. The amount you can save is not capped, as it is/was with the childcare voucher benefit. For parents using a nursery for the care of their child and who pay more than £350 a month, the workplace nursery benefit delivers considerably better savings.

The main terms of the scheme:
